I just spent the last hour playing Go Monkey & Banana and I have to say, it's been a wild ride. At first, I was a bit skeptical about the whole concept - I mean, who wouldn't want to play as a monkey running around collecting bananas? But as I started playing, I realized that there's actually a lot more to the game than I initially thought. The controls are pretty straightforward, you just use the arrow keys to move your monkey and the space bar to jump. Simple enough, right?

As I progressed through the levels, I started to notice that the game gets progressively harder. The enemies get tougher, the platforms get smaller, and the bananas get harder to reach. It's not just a matter of running and jumping, you actually have to think about your movements and plan ahead. I found myself dying a lot, especially in the later levels, but it wasn't frustrating - it was more like, okay, let me try that again. The game has a bit of a nostalgic feel to it, it reminds me of old school platformers like Donkey Kong or Super Mario Bros.

One thing that I really liked about Go Monkey & Banana is the graphics. They're colorful, they're fun, and they're pretty well done. The monkey is adorable, and the different environments you play in are all unique and interesting. The sound effects are also top notch - the monkey's little squeaks and squeals are pretty funny, and the music is catchy and upbeat. Overall, the presentation of the game is great, it's just a fun and lighthearted experience.

But, as much as I enjoyed playing Go Monkey & Banana, I do have to say that it's not without its flaws. For one thing, the game is pretty short - I was able to beat it in under an hour, and that's including all the times I died. I also found that some of the levels felt a bit repetitive - you're basically doing the same thing over and over again, just with slightly different obstacles. And, as much as I liked the graphics, there were a few times when the game slowed down a bit, especially when there were a lot of enemies on the screen.

Despite those flaws, I would still definitely recommend Go Monkey & Banana to anyone looking for a fun, casual gaming experience. It's not going to challenge you or keep you up for hours on end, but it's a great way to pass the time and have a bit of fun. And, at the end of the day, that's what games are all about, right? The game is also really suitable for kids, my little sister was watching me play and she was laughing and having a great time, so that's a plus.

Overall, I'd say that Go Monkey & Banana is a solid game that's worth checking out. It's not perfect, but it's a fun and lighthearted experience that's sure to put a smile on your face. And, who knows, you might even find yourself wanting to play it again and again, just to see how far you can get or to try and beat your high score. I'm definitely going to be playing it again, and I think you should give it a try too.
