Sweet Triple Mahjong Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last hour playing Sweet Triple Mahjong and I'm not really sure how I feel about it. On the one hand, I love mahjong games and this one is definitely a solid addition to the genre. The graphics are cute and colorful, with these adorable little sweets and desserts that you have to match up to clear the board. It's definitely a visually appealing game, and the music is catchy and upbeat without being too annoying.
But on the other hand, the gameplay is just so... standard. I mean, it's mahjong, right? You've got your tiles, you've got your board, you've got your goal of clearing everything. It's not like Sweet Triple Mahjong brings anything new or innovative to the table. And to be honest, I've played so many mahjong games in the past that this one just feels like more of the same. Don't get me wrong, it's still fun to play and all, but it's not like it's going to blow your mind or anything.
One thing that did kind of stand out to me was the level design. The boards get progressively harder as you go along, which is to be expected, but some of the levels have these really clever little twists. Like, there will be certain tiles that are locked in place, or certain tiles that can only be matched in a specific order. It's not super complicated or anything, but it does add a bit of challenge and variety to the game. And I have to admit, I did get a little hooked on trying to beat some of the tougher levels.
I also appreciate that the game has a pretty relaxed atmosphere. There's no timer or anything, so you can just take your time and think about your moves. It's a really chill game, and I can see myself playing it when I just want to unwind and not think too much. The controls are also super simple, which is great for a mobile game. You just tap on the tiles you want to match, and that's it. Easy peasy.
But overall, I'd say Sweet Triple Mahjong is just an okay game. It's not bad by any means, but it's not particularly exciting either. If you're a huge fan of mahjong games, you'll probably enjoy it, but if you're looking for something new and different, you might want to keep looking. I mean, I'll probably keep playing it for a bit just because it's a fun little time-waster, but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it to anyone.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that Sweet Triple Mahjong is just a really average game. It's not going to change your life or anything, but it's a decent way to pass the time. And hey, if you're into mahjong games, you could definitely do worse. So yeah, I'd say give it a try if you're in the mood for something casual and relaxing, but don't expect to be blown away or anything.
