Variety Mecha Review & Gameplay Guide

I just spent the last week playing Variety Mecha, and I've got to say, it's been a wild ride. I mean, the name alone should give you an idea of what to expect - a game all about mechs, with a ton of variety. And let me tell you, it delivers. The first thing I noticed when I booted up the game was just how many different mechs there are to choose from. I'm talking hundreds, maybe even thousands of different combinations of parts and designs. It's crazy.

At first, I was a bit overwhelmed by all the options. I mean, I've played mech games before, but this was on a whole different level. The customization options are insane, and it took me a while to figure out what I was doing. But once I got the hang of it, I was building mechs like a pro. The game does a pretty good job of explaining everything, but it's still a bit of a learning curve. I had to look up a few tutorials online to really get a handle on things. But trust me, it's worth it.

The gameplay itself is a lot of fun. The mechs all feel really unique, and the combat is fast-paced and exciting. I love the feeling of stomping around the battlefield, blasting away at enemy mechs with my giant laser cannon. The levels are all pretty well-designed, with plenty of opportunities to use your mech's abilities to take out enemies and complete objectives. And the boss fights - oh man, the boss fights are epic. I won't spoil anything, but let's just say that the final boss is one of the toughest, most satisfying fights I've had in a game in a long time.

One thing that did bug me a bit was the story. I mean, it's not bad or anything, but it's just so... generic. You're a mech pilot, fighting against an evil corporation, blah blah blah. I've seen it all before. And the characters - ugh, the characters are all so cliched. I mean, I get it, it's a mech game, not a literary masterpiece. But still, a little more effort would have been nice. The voice acting is also pretty cringeworthy at times, but I guess that's just part of the charm.

Despite a few flaws, I'm really glad I picked up Variety Mecha. It's a game that's all about having fun, and it delivers. The multiplayer is also a blast - I've spent hours playing with my friends, competing in tournaments and just messing around. The community seems pretty active, too, which is always a plus. If you're a fan of mech games, or just looking for something new to play, I'd definitely recommend checking out Variety Mecha. Just don't expect too much from the story, and you'll be golden.

Overall, I'd say Variety Mecha is a solid 8 out of 10. It's not perfect, but it's a lot of fun, and the customization options are insane. If you're looking for a game that's all about action, excitement, and mechs - lots and lots of mechs - then Variety Mecha is the game for you. I'm definitely going to keep playing, and I'm excited to see what the developers come up with in the future. Maybe a sequel with a better story? A guy can dream, right?
