Prom Run Review & Gameplay Guide

I just spent the last few hours playing Prom Run, and I have to say it's been a pretty wild ride. The game is basically a endless runner, but with a prom theme, which is kind of weird but also kind of brilliant. You play as a kid trying to get to prom, but there are all these obstacles in your way, like exes and mean girls and stuff. It's actually pretty relatable, even though I'm way past prom age.

The gameplay is pretty standard for an endless runner - you swipe to jump and dodge and that kind of thing. But the twist is that you have to collect all this stuff to get ready for prom, like a tux and a corsage and a limo. It's actually kind of fun, because you have to balance running and jumping with collecting all this stuff. And the levels get progressively harder, which is cool. The graphics are also pretty sweet, everything is all colorful and cartoonish, it's like a dream world or something.

One thing that's kind of annoying is the ads. I mean, I get it, the game is free and the devs need to make money somehow, but it feels like every time you die, you get an ad. And the ads are all like, 30 seconds long, which is just way too long. I've found myself just closing the game and coming back to it later because I don't want to watch another ad. But I guess that's just the price you pay for a free game.

Despite the ads, I'm actually having a pretty good time playing Prom Run. The game is just so ridiculous and over-the-top, it's hard not to laugh. And the power-ups are actually really cool, like you can get a pair of sneakers that make you run faster, or a shield that protects you from obstacles. It's just a really fun, lighthearted game, you know? And the music is actually really catchy, I found myself humming the theme song for like an hour after I stopped playing.

I'm not sure how much longevity Prom Run has, though. I mean, once you've played through all the levels and collected all the stuff, there's not really much to do. But for now, it's a fun distraction, and I'm happy to play it for a bit every day. And who knows, maybe they'll add more levels or something in the future. I'd definitely be down to play more of it.

Overall, I'd say Prom Run is a solid game, especially if you're into endless runners. It's not going to win any awards or anything, but it's just a fun, silly game that's perfect for playing on the bus or during a break at work. And hey, it's free, so you can't really go wrong. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a lighthearted, easy-to-play game. Just be prepared for the ads, because they can be kind of annoying. But other than that, Prom Run is a pretty cool game, and I'm glad I gave it a shot.
